Coopers & Lybrand to provide reviews of Narrowline system

Narrowline Inc., an online transaction services provider, has hired professional services firm Coopers & Lybrand LLP to provide periodic performance and security reviews of its electronic transactions system, the company announced today. "Internet companies such as Narrowline, whose entire business is conducted online, need to provide an even higher degree of accountability than non-Internet companies," said Narrowline President and CEO Tara Lemmey. The semiannual reviews will assure customers of getting what they've paid for, Lemmey said. Narrowline, based in San Francisco, develops electronic storefronts for sales of Internet-based media products, and provides online advertising services.
