Commander FDC update ships

Comshare Inc. has begun shipping Commander FDC 4.0, an upgrade of its business reporting and analysis application. Commander Financial Data Control 4.0 features enhanced audit capabilities and expanded journal consolidation capabilities. It also provides online analytical processing functionality, officials at the Ann Arbor, Mich., company said. Commander FDC 4.0, which also does currency translations, has a starting price of $100,000 for 25 users and runs on HP-UX, Digital VAX and Windows NT on the server and Windows 3.1, Windows 95 or Windows NT on the client.
